Job summary

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for full-time Warehouse Associates! The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting with various warehouse operations, including loading and unloading trucks, processing furniture, and maintaining the warehouse.

This role ensures that furniture is rental-ready for delivery teams, contributing to an optimal customer experience. This position offers an hourly pay rate of $18, weekly pay, paid training, and 40-hours/week with occasional overtime

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehousing experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred; on-the-job certification provided.
• Physically able to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis or 100 pounds with a partner.
• Able to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks.
• Must pass drug screening (does not include THC) as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks for daily routes, ensuring no scratches or damage and correct item placement.
• Pull and stage furniture for the next day's deliveries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Clean, touch up, and repair furniture to ensure it is rental-ready.
• Maintain and clean the warehouse, including breaking down cardboard and dumping trash.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy, relocating products as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings, perform daily warm-ups and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist drivers on deliveries when needed.
• Participate in special projects and other tasks as assigned.
