Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support materials handling and product distribution in a busy distribution center. You will perform receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, and movement of goods to meet service parameters.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, operating RF scanners, and occasional overtime. Training in WMS and various equipment is provided, with adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• > High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• < RF scanner/voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• < Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• < Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• < Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and meet hourly standards.
• < Good verbal and written communication skills.
• < Willing to learn to operate equipment and rotate areas of the warehouse.
• < Adhere to OSHA and PPE safety rules.

Responsibilities

• > Picking large case items with equipment or small units and placing on carts.
• < Cross-training in multiple warehouse areas; participate in projects.
• < Use WMS to check in/out products.
• < Drive material handling equipment as required.
• < Equipment may include cherry picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, walkie rider.
• < Load trucks as needed.
• < Attend meetings and communicate concerns to management.
• < Follow OSHA standards and company policies.
