Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Manchester, CT to perform shipping and receiving duties across the distribution center, ensuring accurate, safe handling and timely movement of product. You will participate in palletizing orders and operating warehouse equipment with attention to detail.

The role requires a high school education, familiarity with distribution, and the ability to use a PC for data entry.

Qualifications

• High School Education required.
• Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable.
• Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment.
• Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research purposes.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented with strong attention to detail and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Complete all documents related to shipping/receiving tasks.
• Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food and dairy orders for shipment to retail stores.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-operational checks of equipment per policy.
• Maintain sanitation; keep work area clean and debris-free.
• Suggest procedural improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
