Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform distribution center shipping and receiving tasks, moving product accurately and safely throughout the facility.

You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, prepare shipping documents, select and palletize orders for shipment to stores, maintain a clean work area, and suggest process improvements to boost efficiency. A high school diploma is required and certification on powered industrial equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Education required.
• Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable.
• Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Complete all documents related to shipping and receiving tasks.
• Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food and dairy orders for shipment.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Perform pre-operational checks of pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Follow good sanitation practices; keep work area clean and free of debris.
• Suggest modifications to procedures to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
