Job summary

ADUSA Distribution, the distribution arm of Ahold Delhaize USA, seeks a Warehouse Associate in Salisbury, NC to handle shipping and receiving duties, palletize items for shipment, and operate pallet jacks and forklifts. The role supports the distribution center's safe, accurate movement of product across multiple departments.

The ideal candidate will have a high school education, familiarity with distribution environments, and the ability to use a PC for data entry and document tasks.

Qualifications

• Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable.
• Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research purposes.
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• High School Education.
• Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Complete documents related to shipping/receiving tasks.
• Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food and dairy orders for shipment to retail stores.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Perform pre-operational checks of pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Follow sanitation practices; keep area clean and debris-free.
• Suggest procedural changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
