Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Warehouse Associate to efficiently handle merchandise within our distribution center. You will move items by hand or forklift, verify orders, label and palletize goods, replenish pick areas, and prepare shipments while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Candidates should be able to operate RF devices, perform basic math, and maintain certifications. Experience in automated warehouses and WMS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with coworkers and supervision; ability to report and enter data accurately.
• Basic math for inventory counts and data entry.
• Ability to operate/learn RF units and motorized pallet movement equipment.
• Maintain annual certification requirements as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in automated distribution centers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise throughout the distribution center by hand, hand truck, or forklift.
• Verify and audit merchandise against orders; record data in terminal.
• Identify, label, and palletize merchandise for storage.
• Replenish pick areas and fulfill store orders from pick slots.
• Load outgoing goods into trailers and report damages or discrepancies.
