Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a warehouse associate to support all areas of the distribution center. You will move merchandise, verify orders, label and palletize items, and replenish pick zones while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include processing inbound/outbound goods, data entry, and assisting with problem resolution with supervisors. The role requires physical fitness and ability to operate warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to communicate with co-workers, understand directions, and respond to management inquiries.
• Basic knowledge of simple math concepts.
• Ability to use a Radio Frequency Unit.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of use and operations of motorized merchandise movement equipment.
• Ability to maintain annual certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise throughout the distribution center by hand, hand truck, or forklift.
• Check, verify, and audit merchandise to ensure correct, undamaged items and data entry.
• Identify, label, and palletize merchandise onto pallets.
• Replenish pick areas as needed based on reports and requests.
• Fill orders from stores by moving merchandise from pick to conveyor.
• Load outgoing merchandise into trailer via conveyor or truck.
• Report damages and vendor issues to supervisor and resolve discrepancies.
