Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a warehouse team member to ensure fast and accurate handling of merchandise within the distribution center. You will move items by hand or forklift, verify orders, label and palletize goods, and support all warehouse areas as needed.

Responsibilities include replenishing pick zones, fulfilling store orders, loading outgoing shipments, and reporting issues. Must meet safety and productivity standards and may handle varying shift lengths.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to interact with coworkers and supervisors and to enter data accurately.
• Fundamental math ability for counting, verifying orders and data entry.
• Ability to operate a Radio Frequency (RF) unit and related warehouse tech.
• Willingness to learn use of motorized handling equipment and WMS systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in automated centers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise within the distribution center using hand tools, hand trucks, or forklifts.
• Verify and audit received and outgoing items; data entry into terminals.
• Identify, label, and palletize merchandise for storage and order fulfillment.
• Replenish pick areas and fulfill store orders from pick slots to conveyors.
• Load outbound goods onto trailers and report damages or discrepancies.
• Partner with supervisor to resolve issues and meet safety, productivity standards.
