Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Seasonal Package Handler in Desoto, TX to help keep thousands of packages moving during the holiday season. This active, hands-on role offers weekly pay, a seasonal bonus, and training provided if you have no prior warehouse experience.

You will safely unload, sort, move, and load packages, with shifts from Sunday–Wednesday or Thursday–Saturday, starting at 3:30 PM and finishing around 2 AM. Overtime is possible.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Work as part of a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.

Location: 802 East Centre Park Blvd, Desoto, TX 75115

Pay: $18.00

This role is eligible for overtime pay consistent with applicable law.

Employment Type: Seasonal Full - Time

Shift: Sunday - Wednesday or Thursday - Saturday | 3:30PM start 2AM finish
Typical Shift Length: Approximately 10.5 hours
End times may vary based on package volume and business needs.

Season Duration*: 10/27/26 to 01/01/27

What You'll Need

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse role. With or without reasonable accommodation, you must be able to:

• Repeatedly lift packages as described above
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during your scheduled shift
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull and squat while handling packages
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout your shift
• Work in hot or cold environments, as temperature control capabilities may be limited in the warehouse environment

Premium Holiday Pay

• Premium pay for hours worked on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
