Job Purpose

The purpose of the Warehouse Associate Driver is to deliver products safely and on time. Performs various warehouse tasks efficiently, safely, and accurately to ensure excellent customer service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Deliver specified products to various locations safely and efficiently, driving short and long distances.
2. Coordinate with management to plan safe and efficient delivery routes.
3. Verify with customers that correct products are delivered in satisfactory condition.
4. Load and unload trucks as needed.
5. Maintain all required certifications (DOT, OSHA, safety programs).
6. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including shipping and Hazmat documents.
7. Perform pre and post-trip truck inspections.
8. Maintain truck maintenance records.
9. Report safety issues with company vehicles to management.
10. Verify, receive, and store incoming stock.
11. Pick, pack, stage, and ship outgoing orders and transfers.
12. Assist customers with orders and processing returns.
13. Operate handheld scanners for inventory management.
14. Assist with inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and physical inventories.
15. Keep warehouse and common areas clean and organized.
16. Participate in after-hours training classes.
17. Work overtime as needed.
18. Collaborate with team members.
19. Follow all company policies and procedures.
20. Maintain punctual and reliable attendance.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

Stand, walk, sit, kneel, crawl, reach, climb stairs, balance, and handle objects. Lift/move up to 60 pounds. Work environments may be cold or hot, with specific vision requirements. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement, if needed
• At least 1 year of driving delivery trucks
• At least 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience
• Customer service experience preferred
• Proficiency in computer and inventory systems preferred
• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Qualify for insurance under company policies
• Meet federal and state driving regulations

Travel Requirements

No travel required; some industry conference/training travel with overnight stays possible.
