As a Parts Delivery Driver, you will support operations by acting as a backup driver and performing warehouse duties. Most of your time will be in the warehouse, picking orders and staging parts. On some days, you will support the delivery team as a backup driver, especially during high volume periods.

Salary Overview: Starting at $17 per hour, based on experience.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4 pm.

Responsibilities include:

• Review sales orders and pick daily orders.
• Load trucks accurately before routes.
• Conduct quality control for defects.
• Deliver parts accurately to dealerships.
• Verify parts and invoices with customers and obtain signatures or return authorizations.
• Handle customer returns.
• Drive company trucks safely.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
• Refuel trucks using the company purchase program.
• Report issues such as overages, shortages, incidents, or accidents.
• Participate in daily huddles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align with the company's mission and vision.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Minimum 2 years of truck driving experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Consistent work history and attendance.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass an annual road test.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Pass MVR check.
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• DOT Medical Card or ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Preferred: forklift, parts picker, and powered pallet jack experience.
