About the position:

Our company is seeking a long-term career minded individual to add to our team. The primary focus of this position initially will be to source, negotiate, and secure carriers to move available freight for our customers in a timely, cost-effective manner. You will play a crucial role in the daily management of our load activities as well as managing key relationships within the existing book of business.

Job Responsibilities:

*Utilize our TMS software to negotiate rates and secure carriers for our daily loads.

*Develop and onboard new carriers through lead generation, cold calling, and referrals.

*Maintain and grow existing carrier relationships.

*Manage daily shipment activities such as pickups, deliveries, appointments, and communicate this information to our carrier partners and customers.

*Communicate with existing customers regarding shipment quotes, load data, transit times, etc.

Qualifications:

* MUST: Minimum 2 years of carrier procurement or carrier sales experience.

* Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

* Self-driven, motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.

* Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently.

* Strong organizational skills.

* Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
