Job summary

Garage Door Store is seeking a Warehouse Associate to ensure our service and installation teams have the right parts and materials before they head out each day. You’ll stage parts, assist technicians, and handle incoming shipments with a strong focus on accuracy and safety.

You’ll also perform inventory counts, support customers, and help with branch operations, contributing to a smooth, customer-focused warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Confirm the parts needed for upcoming service and installation jobs.
• Stage parts and materials for the following day.
• Help technicians locate and load the correct parts.
• Receive incoming products and cross-check bills of lading.
• Perform periodic inventory counts.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and efficient.
• Identify and recommend ways to improve warehouse operations.
• Assist walk-in customers and provide support over the phone.
• Help with van cleaning and general warehouse maintenance as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dumpster area.
• Complete administrative tasks that support the service department.
• Open and close the branch as needed.
• Participate in weekly toolbox talks and promote a safety-first workplace.
