Job summary

A1 Garage is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations in a centralized facility supporting Service, Maintenance & Installation. You will optimize inventory flow, forecast demand, and maintain service levels across locations from the St. Louis market.

You will own execution and strategy, overseeing receiving, safety, and distribution while coordinating with cross-functional teams. Strong leadership and data-driven decision making are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments.
  • 2+ years in a leadership role managing teams.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management (FIFO, cycle counts, replenishment)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee receiving, inspection, and documentation of all inbound inventory.
  • Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
  • Manage delivery coordination.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and vehicles.
  • Manage inventory in this market.
  • Allocate and distribute inventory based on demand trends.
  • Coordinate inter-branch transfers to maintain service levels.
  • Prevent stockouts and excess inventory through proactive management.
  • Monitor vehicle inventory replenishments to ensure accuracy and compliance with operational standards.
  • Analyze usage trends, seasonality, and growth patterns.
  • Maintain target stock levels (~2 months of forward demand).
  • Identify and report the need to adjust safety stock, reorder points, inventory templates and purchasing based on demand shifts.
  • Track and optimize key inventory metrics (AWU, AMU, LTD, ROP, TTC).
  • Lead cycle counts, audits, and scheduled physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of inventory movement.
  • Partner with supply chain, operations, and branch leadership.
  • Support ordering, scheduling, and special order distribution.
  • Communicate inventory strategy and performance across teams.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Partner with the Area Manager to support daily operations, execute Supply Chain initiatives, and drive continuous operational improvements.
  • Drive efficiency, accuracy, and service-level performance.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations of a centralized warehouse that supports multiple departments including Service, Maintenance & Installation. This role ensures efficient inventory flow, accurate forecasting, and consistent service levels across all locations. The Warehouse Supervisor owns both execution and strategy—overseeing warehouse operations while optimizing inventory allocation, demand planning, and distribution to support business growth and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do
Warehouse Operations

What You’ll Bring
Experience & Knowledge
  • 5+ years in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments

  • 2+ years in a leadership role managing teams

  • Strong understanding of inventory management (FIFO, cycle counts, replenishment)

Other Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record

  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)

  • Ability to work in an active warehouse environment and lift 25–50 lbs
