Job summary

1-800-Flowers.com is seeking a warehouse associate to support order fulfillment operations in our Tennessee facility. You will perform receiving, picking, packing, and shipping tasks to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires attention to inventory accuracy, ability to work in cold environments, and willingness to extend hours during holidays. Forklift and pallet jack certification are preferred or must be obtained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to count and record inventory accurately.
• Quality control and attention to detail.
• Able to operate in cold temperatures for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming freight and prepare, pack, scan, and ship customer orders.
• Manage, organize, and retrieve stock and materials.
• Build flower boxes in anticipation of future orders.
• Utilize power equipment as needed.
• Temporary labor supervision during peak holiday weeks.
• Work extended hours, nights and weekends during peak holidays.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

The warehouse associate will be responsible for performing a variety of daily tasks including but not limited to receiving/processing incoming freight, picking/fulfilling orders, and packing/shipping orders.

Responsibilities Include:

• Complete daily work responsibilities
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Hydrate inbound floral shipments
• Prepare, pack, scan, and ship customer orders
• Manage, organize, and retrieve stock and other needed materials
• Build flower boxes in anticipation of future orders
• Utilizes power equipment as needed
• Maintains a clean work area
• Other various tasks as assigned
• Temporary labor supervision responsibility during peak holiday weeks
• Ability to work extended hours during peak holidays to include nights and weekends
