Job summary

1-800-Flowers.com, INC is seeking a warehouse associate to support daily order fulfillment and ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of flowers and gifts.

The role requires ability to work in cold environments, operate power equipment, count inventory, and handle peak holiday hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to count and record inventory.
• Forklift and electric pallet jack certified or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Receive/process incoming freight.
• Pick/fulfill orders.
• Pack/ship customer orders.
• Manage/organize and retrieve stock and materials.
• Build flower boxes in anticipation of future orders.
• Operate power equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Temporary labor supervision during peak holiday weeks.
• Work extended hours during peak holidays, including nights and weekends.

This position is a crucial part of a team that fulfills daily flower and gift orders from our amazing customers each day. The warehouse associate will be responsible for performing a variety of daily tasks including but not limited to receiving/processing incoming freight, picking/fulfilling orders, and packing/shipping orders.

Responsibilities Include:

• Complete daily work responsibilities
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Hydrate inbound floral shipments
• Prepare, pack, scan, and ship customer orders
• Manage, organize, and retrieve stock and other needed materials
• Build flower boxes in anticipation of future orders
• Utilizes power equipment as needed
• Maintains a clean work area
• Other various tasks as assigned
• Temporary labor supervision responsibility during peak holiday weeks
• Ability to work extended hours during peak holidays to include nights and weekends
