Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply is hiring a Warehouse Team Member at the San Antonio Distribution Center in Selma, TX. You will unload, pick, and load products to support Chick-fil-A restaurants, with a 4-day, 10-hour workweek.

Starting wage is $21.25 per hour, paid bi-weekly, with benefits including free lunch, PTO, health insurance options, and a 401(k) with a 5% match. Shift scheduling may vary to meet business needs while ensuring safety and care.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking) to follow instructions and paperwork.
Ability to lift up to 65 pounds per case and move up to 2,000 pounds with mechanical aid.
Work in extreme temperatures (–10F to 100F) as needed in a warehouse.
Experience in warehouse/material handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

Unload, stage, pick and load products to keep warehouse efficient.
Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Communicate effectively and respectfully with teammates.

As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role that directly impacts the success of Chick-fil-A restaurants. Duties include unloading, picking and loading product at the Chick-fil-A Supply San Antonio Distribution Center in Selma TX. Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7 AM to 5:30PM until the work is done.

4 Day Workweek (4 10-hour days)
The schedule will be assigned according to business needs, and flexibility is needed during weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate, you are a key driver in the efficiency, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse.

Efficiency and Organization: You’ll be on your feet, actively engaging with unloading, staging, picking and loading products.
Safety First: Safely operating machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks and keeping our warehouse clean and safe.
Communication and Care: Connecting with care with everyone you come in contact with.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

Extreme Temperature: Working in rotation through extreme temperatures (–10F to 100F) is required to keep our food safe!
Heavy Weights: Reach, bend, and stoop while lifting up to 65 pounds per case during most of your shift. Occasionally you will use mechanical assistance to move up to 2,000 pounds.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking): to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation and paperwork, and accurately interpret labels, pick lists, scanner prompts, signage, and company communications
