As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role that directly impacts the success of Chick-fil-A restaurants. Duties include unloading, picking and loading product at the Chick-fil-A Supply Columbia Distribution Center in West Columbia, SC. Chick-fil-A Supply strives to be the most caring distribution center in the world with scheduling, pay and benefits that demonstrate care for our team members. Chick-fil-A Supply is a distribution service provider focused entirely on serving the unique needs of Chick-fil-A restaurants. We are in the early stages of development and is a dynamic, fast-paced work environment focused on launching this new service to Restaurants across the nation and we’re looking for the best Team Members in our industry!

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday from 7 AM to 5:30PM or until the work is done:

• 4 Day Workweek (4 10-hour days)
• The schedule will be assigned according to business needs, and flexibility is needed during weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Starting at $20.75/hour

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate, you are a key driver in the efficiency, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse.

• Efficiency and Organization: You’ll be on your feet, actively engaging with unloading, staging, picking and loading products.
• Safety First: Safely operating machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks and keeping our warehouse clean and safe.
• Communication and Care: Connecting with care with everyone you come in contact with.
• Additional Opportunities and Professional Development: Other duties and growth opportunities may also be assigned.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• Extreme Temperature: Working in rotation through extreme temperatures (–10F to 100F) is required to keep our food safe!
• Heavy Weights: Reach, bend, and stoop while lifting up to 65 pounds per case during most of your shift. Occasionally you will use mechanical assistance to move up to 2,000 pounds.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking): to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation and paperwork, and accurately interpret labels, pick lists, scanner prompts, signage, and company communications.

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• Working in a warehouse and/or material handling is preferred but not required, and previous work in food distribution is a plus.
