Job summary

Astrix Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our Santa Rosa, CA site as part of the supply chain and logistics team. This 6-month contract supports receiving, processing, and shipping of materials in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Hours are Monday–Friday 5x8 with possible overtime; compensation ranges from $22 to $24 per hour. 2–4 years in distribution or warehouse roles, and familiarity with ERP/WMS, are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework a plus.
• 2–4 years in a distribution center or warehouse, preferably in medical devices or regulated manufacturing.
• Familiarity with carrier shipping methods and ERP/WMS systems.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally and work in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for discrepancies or damage.
• Receive and process goods into inventory using an ERP/inventory system.
• Move materials to receiving inspection and storage locations.
• Pull and kit raw materials to fulfill production work orders.
• Generate shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments.
• Retrieve finished goods to fulfill distribution and sales orders.
• Coordinate with QC, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams.
• Interface with multiple carriers for shipment pickups.
• Support warehouse organization and safety standards.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts.

Overview

Our client, a medical device manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join their supply chain and logistics team. This role supports the receipt, processing, and shipment of raw materials, supplies, and finished goods in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Location: Onsite in Santa Rosa, CA | Type: 6-month contract with opportunity for conversion | Hours: M-F 5x8 with possible overtime | Compensation: $22-$24/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for discrepancies or damage.
• Receive and process goods into inventory using an ERP/inventory management system.
• Move materials to receiving inspection and transfer to storage locations upon release.
• Pull and kit raw materials to fulfill production work orders.
• Generate shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments.
• Retrieve finished goods to fulfill distribution and sales orders.
• Coordinate with QC, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance.
• Interface with multiple carriers for shipment pickups.
• Support warehouse organization and safety standards.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework a plus.
• 2-4 years of progressive experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or stockroom environment, preferably within the medical device or regulated manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with common carrier shipping methods and related software.
• International shipping experience highly desired.
• Working knowledge of WMS/inventory management software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interpret technical procedures and regulatory documentation.
• Comfortable working with basic mathematical concepts (ratios, percentages, statistical inference).
• Ability to lift/move up to 20 lbs occasionally.
