Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Operator in Andover, MA for a 12-month contract on W2. The role runs Mon - Fri, 7AM - 3:30PM with overtime as needed, totaling 40 hours per week.

You will move materials using handcarts and pallet jacks, maintain inventory records, and support production with timely kit assembly. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 0-1 year in a warehouse setting, basic math and English literacy, and good communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive materials and components used in manufacturing.
• Transact inventory within warehouse to production and requestors.
• Assemble kits from components for work orders on the production lines.
• Ship finished assemblies to sterilization or other facilities.
• Maintain accurate counts of materials on stockroom and production floors.
• Document all material transactions for traceability.

Job Description

• Occasional use of equipment such as handcarts and pallet jacks to move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products or goods within a plant, office, or warehouse.


• May maintain records. Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area / process / method.


• Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.


• Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.


• Works under general to limited supervision.

The Primary Responsibilities Of This Role Are

• receiving of materials and components used in the manufacture of medical devices


• transacting inventory within the warehouse, out to the production floor, or to individual requestors


• collecting components into kits of material for work orders on the production lines


• shipping of finished assemblies out to sterilization or to other facilities within the company


• maintaining an accurate physical count of materials within both the stockroom and the production floor


• documenting all material transactions, both on paper and electronically, for traceability purposes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.


• Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed.


• Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).


• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.


• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.


• Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment. General computer skills.
