You will pick, pack, stage, weigh, and load orders, track supplies, support stocking, and assist audits. The 6-month contract offers a 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am with a 15% differential and potential

Job description

We are partnering with a growing manufacturing and warehousing organization to identify a Logistics Associate for their distribution operations. This role suits a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in accuracy, safety, and teamwork. The ideal candidate brings hands-on GMP warehouse experience and comfort working with RF scanning technology and material handling equipment.

Type: 6-month contract with possibility for extension
Location: Onsite in Fremont, CA
Compensation: $26-$28/hr
Hours: M-F 3rd Shift 11pm-7am 15% shift differential

What You’ll Do

• Pick, pack, stage, weigh, and load customer orders for both internal and external shipment using an RF scanning device, completing all required documentation.
• Track and replenish operating supplies within assigned work areas, flagging reorder needs to the team coach.
• Support backfilling of materials to keep assigned areas consistently stocked.
• Uphold strong housekeeping standards through routine cleaning and light maintenance, including preparation for internal and external audits.
• Conduct daily cycle counts for assigned areas via RF scanner and partner with Inventory Control to resolve discrepancies.

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to learn and apply Work Instructions, SOPs, and other regulatory requirements.
• Strong reading comprehension with the ability to apply multi-step written instructions to real-world tasks.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills for interacting with peers and leadership.
• Reliable transportation, as this role may require travel between multiple warehouse sites.
• Comfort using computers for data entry, RF transactions, and retrieving procedural or safety information.
• Experience operating warehouse material handling equipment (pallet jacks, pallet transfer equipment, shrink bundlers, strapping machines, shrink wrappers, pallet scales, conveyors, etc.).
• Ability to follow verbal and written direction from management, coaches, and peers.
• Sharp attention to detail across safety, quality, and customer requirements.
• Preferred: Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and SAP or similar systems.

Physical Requirements: Regularly lifts/moves up to 20 lbs, frequently up to 40 lbs, and occasionally up to 60 lbs with assistance.
