About the Role
We are seeking a GMP Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations within a regulated pharmaceutical/life sciences environment.
This position will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, staging, scaling, loading, and documenting customer orders while maintaining high standards for GMP, safety, quality, inventory accuracy, and housekeeping.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, comfortable working independently, and experienced in using RF scanners and warehouse material-handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner/gun and prepare orders for internal and external movement.
- Pack, stage, scale, and load orders while completing all required documentation.
- Monitor operating supplies and communicate replenishment needs to the Coach or management.
- Maintain and backfill assigned warehouse areas to ensure supplies remain readily available.
- Perform daily cycle counts using an RF gun and assist Inventory Control with discrepancy reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environment.
- Perform housekeeping and light maintenance duties and actively support preparation for internal and external audits.
- Follow all applicable Work Instructions (WIs), SOPs, company policies, GMP requirements, and safety procedures.
- Participate in required training programs and demonstrate knowledge of procedures in daily activities.
- Participate in company and departmental meetings, Performance Centers, and other team activities.
- Adapt to changing priorities and assignments in a continuously improving warehouse environment.
- Maintain accurate hard-copy and electronic records.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of GMP warehouse experience
- Experience working in a regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or similar environment preferred.
- Experience using RF scanners/guns for warehouse transactions.
- Ability to learn and follow SOPs, Work Instructions, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality, accuracy, and customer requirements.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and rounding.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.
- Reliable transportation, as the position may require working across multiple warehouse facilities.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adapt to changing daily assignments.
Warehouse Equipment Experience
Comfortable operating or learning to operate warehouse equipment such as:
- Pallet jacks
- Shrink bundlers and shrink wrappers
- Strapping machines
- Pallet scales
- Other industrial material-handling equipment
Preferred: Experience with SAP or equivalent warehouse/inventory systems and Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. with assistance
- Ability to perform physical warehouse activities throughout the workday.
