Job summary

Wafna is seeking a Warehouse Associate to help move products from receiving to delivery in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role involves packaging, loading/unloading, inventory tasks, and supporting multiple departments. A strong work ethic, physical stamina, and reliability are essential.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with overtime opportunities. You will work in a team that values accuracy and safety in handling goods and equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under various time constraints.
• Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of the warehouse environment.
• The incumbent should be able to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Correctly follow a given rule or set of rules to arrange things or actions in a certain order;
• Require considerable and strenuous physical exertion so incumbents should be able to lift heavy objects over 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate material handler equipment proficiently.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Physically strong, agile, dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.
• Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
• Available to work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Package finished product for shipping (Shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Stage finished product for loading.
• Check purchase orders/work orders to ensure products are correctly assembled and ready for delivery.
• Check items to ensure correct quantity before assembly.
• Assist in inventory maintenance and counts.
• Load finished product onto the truck.
• Unload products from trucks and stock them in designated areas.
• Ensure no damaged products are sent out and no damaged products stored.
• Operate pallet jack per SOPs and perform preventive maintenance.
• Provide on-the-job training for new employees.
• Handle inventory movement into/out of controlled locations.
• Prepare customers’ orders for delivery.
• Provide fill-in support for other warehouse departments.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Assists in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts.
• Load the finished product onto the truck.

• Responsible for quality control. Ensure that no damaged products are sent out, and no damaged products will be stored.
• Operate pallet jack within standard operating procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on palette jacks.
• Perform on-the-job training for new employees.
• Handle inventory movement into and out of controlled locations.
• Prepare customers’ orders for delivery.
• Provide fill-in support for other departments in the warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned.
