Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA in Middleburg Heights, OH, is seeking a warehouse associate to support storage, sorting, packing, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods on the warehouse floor. The role requires physical work, operating cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.

Key responsibilities include sorting, stacking, stocking, assisting with orders, maintaining equipment, and following health, safety, and Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation.
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stock.
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation.
• Perform general clean-up activities.
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately.
• Train others when required.
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.
