Job summary

Bartlett Dairy Queens is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Associate to support our Bartlett location. You will prepare orders, pick items, and assist shipping; forklift experience is a plus. The role requires reliability for early shift hours with potential overtime.

Full-time position offering comprehensive health benefits and paid time off. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year or more related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift and electric pallet jack experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and perform basic arithmetic including rate, ratio, and percent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pull materials and pack boxes.
• Load/unload materials using forklift or pallet jack; move products as required.
• Assist shipping and receiving; unload trucks and verify orders against POs.
• Ensure items are stored in an orderly, accessible manner and assemble customer orders.
• Count physical inventory and assist with inventory processes.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment with adherence to safety standards.

Position Summary

This is an entry level position within the warehouse operations department. The employee prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders within an assigned area or department.

• SCHEDULE: 6AM-10AM START TIME, WEEKENDS REQUIRED, FLEXIBILITY TO WORK OVERTIME IS IMPORTANT FOR THIS POSITION!
• Load route trucks and semi-trailers with battery-operated forklift and /or pallet jack, moving product in and out of the warehouse as required.
• Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.
• Ensures items are stored in an orderly and accessible manner.
• Assembling customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department.
• Assisting in counting of physical inventory.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Perfoms pick from trays by customer number reviews orders for shipment, determines and assembles the correct types of product to be shipped
• Loads materials into Trailers and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.

Position Requirements

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The ability to operate a forklift and electric pallet jacks is a plus

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

• Possess or obtain a Powered Industrial Equipment Certification from Bartlett

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet, hot, extreme cold and/or humid conditions; and moving mechanical parts. The employee works non-traditional business hours including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
