Lehigh Valley Dairy, a DFA brand, is hiring warehouse operators for fast-paced roles involving picking, pulling, building orders, palletizing, and loading/unloading in a refrigerated environment.

You will operate forklifts and other equipment at various stations as needed, with safety as a priority and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills.
• Experience operating powered handling equipment (forklift, jacks and riders).

Responsibilities

• Perform picking, pulling and building orders.
• Palletize products and load/unload materials.
• Operate material handling equipment safely in warehouse, cooler, freezer or dock environments.
• Work at assigned stations/lines and follow safety protocols.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and assist with stacking cases.
• Work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

JOB SUMMARY

Lehigh Valley Dairy has immediate job openings for fast paced and motivated warehouse operators to perform any combination of picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, and staging materials for outgoing delivery, and working any station or line that is assigned. Additionally, warehouse operators are responsible for safely operating various material and handling equipment and machinery within a warehouse, cooler, freezer or dock environment.

• $30.53 per hour
• Addn\'l $0.25/hour night shift differential

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience operating powered handling equipment (forklift, jacks and riders) Additional training is provided for locations\' forklift operator\'s certification.
• Able to perform basic math skills.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced refrigerated environment (35-40 degrees Fahrenheit)
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
• May occasionally be exposed to a wet environment and food sanitation chemicals during cleaning chemicals.
