Job summary

Lehigh Valley Dairy, a DFA farmer-owned brand, is seeking warehouse operators for fast-paced duties including picking, pulling, building orders, palletizing, and staging for delivery. You may work at various stations and must operate equipment in cooler or dock environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating powered handling equipment (forklift, jacks, riders) and certification training provided.
• Ability to perform basic math and read instructions clearly.
• Effective verbal and written communication, fast-paced work mindset.
• Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment (35–40°F).
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform picking, pulling, and building orders to prepare shipments.
• Palletize products, load/unload, and stage materials for delivery.
• Operate material handling equipment safely across stations, coolers, freezers, or docks.
• Follow safety, quality, and sanitation procedures; work in a team to meet daily goals.

JOB SUMMARY

Lehigh Valley Dairy has immediate job openings for fast paced and motivated warehouse operators to perform any combination of picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, and staging materials for outgoing delivery, and working any station or line that is assigned. Additionally, warehouse operators are responsible for safely operating various material and handling equipment and machinery within a warehouse, cooler, freezer or dock environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience operating powered handling equipment (forklift, jacks and riders) Additional training is provided for locations\' forklift operator\'s certification.
• Able to perform basic math skills.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced refrigerated environment (35-40 degrees Fahrenheit)
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
• May occasionally be exposed to a wet environment and food sanitation chemicals during cleaning chemicals.
