Manhattan Laminates in Long Island City, NY is hiring a Warehouse Associate to prepare orders, operate a sit-down forklift, and assist customers with pickups. This hands-on role requires at least one year in a warehouse, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a customer-focused, reliable team member who can handle priorities from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare plywood and other products for customer pickup and delivery.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and load and unload trucks.
• Check orders for accuracy and product condition before they leave the warehouse.
• Assist customers with pickups, including locating orders and loading their vehicles.
• Report damaged products or order discrepancies.
• Keep the warehouse organized and maintain clear entrances, exits, and walkways.
• Follow safety procedures and report warehouse hazards.
