Job summary

Unique Floor Supply is hiring for a reliable warehouse teammate with forklift experience in Brooklyn, NY. You will unload inbound materials, verify quantities, move items with forklifts and pallet jacks, and prepare orders for delivery.

Occasional delivery support is required with no driving responsibilities. You will join a safety-minded, team-oriented warehouse and contribute to accurate inventory, clean workspaces, and efficient material handling.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift operating experience is required.
• Building-materials or flooring experience is a plus.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail when checking items and orders.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials: unload trucks, check items against paperwork, report damage or discrepancies.
• Operate equipment: safely use forklifts and pallet jacks to move, organize, and store materials.
• Prepare customer orders: pick, verify, stage, and load orders into vehicles and delivery trucks.
• Handle transfers: load trucks moving materials between company locations.
• Check inventory: count stock, maintain organized storage, report discrepancies.
• Assist with deliveries: accompany drivers 2–3 times per week to unload materials; no driving required.
• Maintain the warehouse: keep aisles clean, inspect equipment, report safety concerns.
• Support teammates with other related warehouse duties as needed.

We’re looking for a reliable, safety-minded teammate with forklift experience who enjoys hands-on work. You’ll play an important role in getting the right materials to our customers safely and on time, working alongside a supportive warehouse and delivery team.

What You’ll Do

• Receive materials: Unload incoming trucks, check items and quantities against paperwork, and report damage or discrepancies.
• Operate equipment: Safely use forklifts and pallet jacks to move, organize, and store materials.
• Prepare customer orders: Pick, verify, stage, and load orders into customer vehicles and delivery trucks.
• Handle transfers: Prepare and load trucks with materials moving between company locations.
• Check inventory: Count stock, maintain organized storage areas, and report inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with deliveries: Accompany drivers approximately two to three times per week to unload materials and carry them inside when needed. No driving is required.
• Maintain the warehouse: Keep aisles, loading areas, and workspaces clean and orderly, inspect equipment before use, and report safety or maintenance concerns.
• Support teammates with other related warehouse duties as needed.

What You’ll Bring
