Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum 3 months of warehouse experience or equivalent training/education.
  • Basic English reading and writing to understand safety instructions, labels, and procedures.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 90 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Use voice-picking technology to pick, pack, and prepare customer orders.
  • Assemble and verify orders for accuracy before shipment.
  • Load outbound shipments and process orders using Infor/CSD/WMS.
  • Unload and inspect inbound merchandise for accuracy and quality.
  • Move, sort, and store materials in designated locations for efficient retrieval.
  • Operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers after training and certification.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and a clean, safe work environment.

What You’ll Do

This non‑exempt, hourly position is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include:

  • Use voice‑picking technology to accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders.
  • Assemble and verify orders for accuracy and quality before shipment.
  • Load outbound shipments and process orders using the Infor/CSD/WMS platform.
  • Unload and inspect inbound merchandise for accuracy and quality.
  • Check in products against purchase orders and apply SKU labels.
  • Move, sort, and store materials in designated locations for efficient retrieval.
  • Safely operate sit‑down forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers after successful completion of company‑provided training and OSHA‑required certification.
  • Transport, stack, and store pallets following all safety guidelines.
  • Assist with physical inventory and scheduled cycle counts.
  • Identify and report inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized storage areas to support operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Wear required PPE including steel‑toed boots, safety glasses, and gloves.
  • Follow all safety policies and report hazards or equipment issues immediately.
  • Work safely in indoor, outdoor, hot, and cold environments.
  • Follow company policies and supervisor instructions.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a positive, customer‑focused attitude.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum 3 months of warehouse experience or equivalent training/education.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Dependable, punctual, and safety‑focused.
  • Physical ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 90 lbs., stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods, and work in indoor/outdoor environments, including hot and cold conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • Authorization to work in the United States and ability to pass pre‑employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Forklift operation experience (sit‑down, cherry picker, reach truck).
  • Voice‑picking system experience.
  • Lumber or building product industry experience.
  • Receiving and shipping experience.
  • Inventory control experience.
  • WMS familiarity.
  • Previous experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
Schedule
  • Full‑time position.
