Manhattan Laminates in Deer Park, NY is seeking a Warehouse Associate to process inbound and outbound transactions and support customers and departments. The role focuses on inventory control, accuracy, and efficient service.

Responsibilities include picking and packing plywood orders with a sit-down forklift, assisting customer pickups, unloading/loading trucks, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse. Prior lumber/distribution experience is a plus.

TheWarehouse AssociateforManhattan Laminates | Roberts Plywoodwill be primarily responsible for processing inbound/outbound transactions in a timely and accurate manner, applying inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and servicing/supporting clients and departments.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Pick & package orders of plywood for shipment using sit-down forklift.
• Assist in customer pick-ups by locating orders via handheld scan gun, pulling correct items, and assisting the client load their vehicles.
• Assist in unloading and loading trucks.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness (i.e. moving skids off the floor, keeping entrance to exits/entrances clear, discarding empty packaging, etc.)
• Maintain safe work environment by reporting hazards to management.

Requirements

• Required to lift and move at least 50 lbs.
• Required to have at least 1 year forklift experience.
