Job summary

Manhattan Laminates in Long Island City, NY is hiring a Warehouse Associate to prepare orders, operate a sit-down forklift, and assist customers with pickups. This hands-on role requires at least one year in a warehouse, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a customer-focused, reliable team member who can handle priorities from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

At least one year of warehouse experience.
Sit-down forklift experience.
Ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs.
Customer-focused attitude and teamwork.
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Pick and prepare plywood and other products for customer pickup and delivery.
Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and load and unload trucks.
Check orders for accuracy and product condition before they leave the warehouse.
Assist customers with pickups, including locating orders and loading their vehicles.
Report damaged products or order discrepancies.
Keep the warehouse organized and maintain clear entrances, exits, and walkways.
Follow safety procedures and report warehouse hazards.
