Job Duties

• Load and unload shipments from trucks, containers, and pallets using manual labor and material-handling equipment.
• Inspect incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders, noting any damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Organize and store inventory while following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices.
• Stage and prepare materials for delivery to schools and administrative facilities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tracking materials entering and leaving the warehouse.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe by maintaining clear work areas and properly storing equipment.
• Support shipping, receiving, and inventory control operations as needed.
• Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic warehouse and inventory knowledge preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse, loading/unloading, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.
• Experience using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other material-handling equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
• Capable of working in a physically demanding environment while maintaining productivity and safety standards.
