Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Gentry, AR. The role focuses on supporting warehouse operations including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control to ensure accurate orders.

Pay is $21.00 per hour with a schedule from 2:20pm to 10:30pm, Sunday through Thursday, providing consistent weekend-free work days. Responsibilities include safe loading/unloading, scanning with handheld devices, and maintaining a neat, compliant workspace.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product trailers safely and efficiently
• Verify trailer numbers and inspect trailers for damage or food safety concerns
• Scan products and enter load information into handheld scanners
• Load correct quantities of product onto conveyors for shipment
• Stack boxes of snack cakes throughout the shift (1,700-4,000 cases per shift)
• Secure loads using inflatable air bags as required
• Remove and report damaged product
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Experience Requirements

• Ability to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation.
• Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.
• Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Associate.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
