Job summary

Conklin Metal Industries is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate for the Knoxville, TN location. This hands-on role keeps you moving as you help ensure accurate and timely product fulfillment while supporting a team-focused environment.

You will operate a forklift, pull and pack orders, load trucks, and maintain inventory accuracy. The schedule is Monday–Friday, typically 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, with overtime as needed and regular pay weekly.

Overtime is available based on workload, so candidates must be willing to work additional hours when needed.

What You’ll Do

This is a hands-on warehouse position where every day keeps you moving. You’ll help make sure our customers and branches receive the right products safely and on time.

Your Day May Include

• Operating a forklift to move and organize material


• Pulling, staging, packing, and loading customer orders


• Loading and unloading trucks


• Checking incoming shipments for accuracy and damage


• Organizing inventory throughout the warehouse


• Completing shipping and receiving paperwork


• Securing loads according to DOT and Conklin Metal standards


• Helping maintain accurate inventory


• Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe


• Working alongside your team to get orders out accurately and efficiently

Important: While forklift experience is required, this is not a forklift-only position. You’ll be on your feet, handling material, loading orders, and helping wherever needed.

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate has:

• 2+ years of warehouse experience


• Forklift experience required


• Forklift certification preferred


• Experience with shipping, receiving, order picking, or inventory is a plus


• Ability to lift 50+ pounds


• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and stay active throughout the shift


• Strong attention to detail


• A safety-first mindset


• Dependability and a strong work ethic


• Ability to work well as part of a team


• Willingness to work overtime when business needs require it


• Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures may change with the weather
