Conklin Metal Industries, Nashville branch, is hiring a Warehouse Associate. You will manage receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and loading deliveries, while maintaining safety and efficiency on the floor.

We offer a long-standing, family-owned culture with growth paths from warehouse roles to leadership positions. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, with consistent hours and benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• Two years of warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift experience and safe operation are required.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against invoices and condition.
• Pull, stage, pack, and load outgoing deliveries and branch transfers.
• Load and secure trucks in accordance with DOT and company standards.
• Organize and maintain stock on shelving and bins.
• Operate a forklift as a regular part of daily work.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.

Warehouse Associates at Conklin have gone on to become Shipping Leads, Receiving Leads, Warehouse Managers, Inside Sales Representatives, Branch Managers, and Operations Managers. If you want a path, we have one. But it starts on the warehouse floor, and it starts with doing the basics exceptionally well.LOCATION AND COMMUTEWe are located at 1150 Antioch Pike, Suite 250, Nashville, TN 37211, in the Antioch area off I-24 on the south side of Nashville. If you are commuting from Antioch, Smyrna, Murfreesboro, Brentwood, or the surrounding South Nashville area, you are in a great location. Our 7:00 AM start time also helps you get in and out ahead of the worst Nashville traffic.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGYour day will move quickly, and no two days will look exactly the same. You’ll help keep our operation running smoothly from the time product comes through the door until it leaves on a truck.Receive and verify incoming shipments against invoices, checking for accuracy and product conditionPull, stage, pack, and load outgoing deliveries and branch transfers without damaging productLoad and secure trucks in accordance with DOT and Conklin standardsOrganize and maintain stock on shelving, bins, and overhangs according to company standardsMonitor inventory and report discrepancies to managementOperate a forklift safely as a regular part of your daily workKeep the warehouse clean, organized, and safeComplete all required paperwork accurately and on timeWHO WE’RE LOOKING FORThe people who thrive here tend to share a few things in common.
