Conklin Metal Industries – Atlanta West (Austell) Branch is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Austell, GA. The role supports all daily warehouse functions from receiving to shipping, with a day shift Monday through Friday and startup around 9am.

The position offers full-time hours, medical/dental/vision benefits, and a comprehensive benefits package in a stable, family-owned HVAC and sheet metal company.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required; certification preferred.
• Experience with WMS scanning and inventory control strongly preferred.
• Order picking and general warehouse experience expected.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stay active through shift.
• Able to work in varying temperatures and fast-paced environment.
• 2+ years warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against orders and invoices.
• Organize inventory and maintain stock locations.
• Perform order picking, staging, packing, and loading.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Use WMS scanning to track inventory and discrepancies.
• Support inventory control and unload, load trucks per DOT standards.

We are currently hiring a Warehouse Associate for our Austell branch to support our growing operation.

Pay & Schedule

$20.00-22.00 per hour (weekly pay via direct deposit)

Monday–Friday | Starting at 9am and goes until all outgoing orders are loaded (usually 5:30-6:00pm) Flexibility is a must.

Overtime available based on business needs

Full-time, day shift position

About the Role

This is an all-around warehouse position supporting every area of the operation — from receiving to shipping. We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and willing to jump in wherever needed.

This is not a forklift-only role — you’ll be actively involved in all daily warehouse functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against orders and invoices
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately and processed properly
• Organize inventory and maintain warehouse stock locations
• Perform order picking, staging, packing, and loading
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently
• Use WMS scanning systems to track and manage inventory
• Support inventory control and report discrepancies
• Load and secure trucks following DOT and company safety standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Assist with receiving, shipping, and overall warehouse workflow
