Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Join a clean, organized manufacturing facility as a Warehouse Associate, supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory control for custom cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, and precision interconnect solutions. You will handle materials from receipt through shipment, using ERP or warehouse systems to ensure accurate transactions, well-packaged products, and a highly efficient warehouse operation.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and accurately process all transactions in the ERP or warehouse management system.
• Pull parts and materials for production work orders and customer shipments according to established procedures.
• Package, crate, and prepare parts to prevent shipping damage and ensure safe transit.
• Create packing lists and shipping documentation in alignment with carrier and customer requirements.
• Schedule carrier pickups with UPS, FedEx, freight providers, and other carriers as needed.
• Ship products and maintain accurate shipping and receiving records to support inventory integrity.
• Maintain organized warehouse storage using FIFO (First In, First Out) methods.
• Perform inventory transactions and routine cycle counts to keep stock levels accurate.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies by investigating variances and updating records.
• Close production work orders and send advanced shipping notices (ASNs) as required.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well organized in accordance with facility standards.
• Handle materials using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, following safety guidelines.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, and material handling.
• Hands-on experience with receiving, order pulling, and shipping processes.
• Working knowledge of ERP or warehouse management systems for inventory and transaction processing.
• Experience with warehouse inventory control, including cycle counts and discrepancy reconciliation.
• Ability to perform packing, crating, and packaging to protect products during shipment.
• Proficiency in order picking and using FIFO methods for inventory rotation.
• Experience using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks; sit-down forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation for shipping, receiving, and inventory.
• Capability to work in a clean manufacturing warehouse environment and follow safety procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Sit-down forklift experience is a plus.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with major carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and freight services.
• Comfort working with advanced shipping notices (ASNs) and related documentation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
