Job summary

Chapman Windows Doors is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist with the smooth operation of projects by undertaking general stocking labor including moving freight and materials. The ideal candidate will have previous experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform physical activities such as lifting 100 pounds regularly.

The role requires operating a forklift and maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse.

As one of our Warehouse Associates, you’ll help with the smooth running of our projects by undertaking general stocking labor, including moving freight, stock, and other materials.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials and products to customers and or jobsites as directed.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean and orderly manner.
• Load work trucks with equipment and materials.
• Unload work trucks and remove unused products, materials, and trash.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to handle materials and equipment in a responsible manner.
• Ability to follow instructions and provide consistent work.
• Basic math and measuring skills.

Education & Experience:

• Previous experience or on-the-job training.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record. (For company vehicle use when required.)

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the entire body. This includes climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, carrying, and stooping.
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
• Must be able to lift and move 100 pounds regularly.
• Requires travel to jobsite within a predetermined radius in a company-provided vehicle.
