Job summary

MCC (Multi Color Corp) is seeking a Material Handler to support production and distribution of print substrates. You will pull orders from inventory, deliver production materials, and stage finished product for shipment on the 3rd shift (11pm–7:30am).

This role requires safe operation of material moving equipment, accurate data entry for job tracking, and adherence to GMP, HACCP and other safety standards while coordinating with associates to maximize throughput.

Responsibilities

• 3rd shift hours - 11pm - 7:30am
• Reads and understands Job Tickets and layouts to produce the correct product of the highest quality.
• Understands and executes planschedulesinan accurateand prompt manner to effectively maximize throughput.
• Works closely with all Associates to coordinate the workflow.
• Performance metrics must be at the average or greater for this position.
• Completes required documentation in an accurate and prompt manner.
• Safely operates material moving equipment.
• Assists in maintaining equipment for optimal operation, including adjustments. Assists with preventative maintenance.
• Correctly enters information into systems for job tracking.
• Complies with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (IE: GMP, HAACP, BRC) as applicable.
• Interacts and behaves professionally. Treats all associates respectfully and professionally whilemaintainingthe companycode of ethics.
• Responsible for maintaining daily housekeeping efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.

The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
