Job summary

MCC is seeking a Material Handler for the 3rd shift to support production and distribution of print substrates. You will pull orders from inventory, deliver materials, and stage finished goods to ensure on-time production.

Responsibilities include reading job tickets, coordinating with associates, operating material handling equipment safely, and completing documentation with accuracy while following GMP and safety policies. A strong focus on throughput and housekeeping is required.

Responsibilities

• 3rd shift hours - 11pm to 7:30am.
• Works with Associates to coordinate workflow and maximize throughput.
• Completes required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Safely operates material moving equipment and assists with maintenance.
• Adheres to GMP/HAACP/BRC and company safety policies.
• Maintains daily housekeeping and supports other duties as assigned.

Material Handler Summary

Maintains production and distribution of product (print substrates) by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product.

Responsibilities:

• 3rd shift hours - 11pm - 7:30am
• Reads and understands Job Tickets and layouts to produce the correct product of the highest quality.
• Understands and executes planschedulesinan accurateand prompt manner to effectively maximize throughput.
• Works closely with all Associates to coordinate the workflow.
• Performance metrics must be at the average or greater for this position.
• Completes required documentation in an accurate and prompt manner.
• Safely operates material moving equipment.
• Assists in maintaining equipment for optimal operation, including adjustments. Assists with preventative maintenance.
• Correctly enters information into systems for job tracking.
• Complies with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (IE: GMP, HAACP, BRC) as applicable.
• Interacts and behaves professionally. Treats all associates respectfully and professionally whilemaintainingthe companycode of ethics.
• Responsible for maintaining daily housekeeping efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.

The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
