Job summary

MCC Label is seeking a Material Handler to support safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards on the shop floor. The role involves moving products between departments and working with teammates to meet daily goals.

Key duties include reading Job Tickets, scheduling work, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining equipment and records in compliance with GMP/HAACP standards. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required.
• Basic math and reading skills are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands Job Tickets and layouts to produce the correct product of the highest quality.
• Plans schedules to maximise throughput and operates safely.
• Coordinates workflow with Associates and maintains daily housekeeping.
• Performs required documentation for job tracking and payroll.
• Operates material moving equipment safely and supports equipment maintenance.
• Disposes of waste materials properly and ensures containers are labeled.

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands Job Tickets and layoutstoproduce the correct productofthe highest quality.
• Understands and executes planschedulesinan accurateand prompt manner to effectively maximize throughput.
• Works closely with all Associates to coordinate the workflow.
• Performance metrics must be at the average or greater for thisposition.
• Completes required documentation in an accurateand prompt manner.
• Safely operatesmaterial moving equipment.
• Assistsin maintaining equipment for optimal operation, including adjustments.Assistswith preventative maintenance.
• Correctly entersinformation intosystems for job tracking and payroll.
• Disposesof waste materials into proper storage containers. Mark andidentifycontainers with required documentation.
• Complies withestablished facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (IE: GMP, HAACP, BRC) as applicable.
• Interactsand behaves professionally. Treats all associates respectfully and professionally whilemaintainingthe companycode of ethics.
• Responsible for maintainingdaily housekeeping efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.
