Job summary

MCC is seeking a Material Handler in Missouri to support production with safe, efficient material flow. You will read job tickets, follow production plans, and coordinate with team members to meet throughput targets.

The role requires basic math, reading skills, and forklift experience; strong communication and computer literacy are valued. Expect full benefits and steady evening hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skill, and ability.

• The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands Job Tickets and layouts to produce the correct product of the highest quality.
• Plans schedules accurately and promptly to maximize throughput.
• Coordinates workflow with all Associates.
• Maintains performance metrics at or above the position average.
• Completes required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Safely operates material handling equipment.
• Assists in maintaining equipment and performing preventative maintenance.
• Enters information correctly into systems for job tracking and payroll.
• Disposes of waste materials into proper storage containers with required documentation.
• Complies with safety policies and regulations (GMP, HACCP, BRC).
• Interacts professionally and maintains the company code of ethics.
• Maintains daily housekeeping efforts.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Reads and understands Job Tickets and layoutstoproduce the correct productofthe highest quality.

• Works closely with all Associates to coordinate the workflow.

• Assists in maintaining equipment for optimal operation, including adjustments. Assists with preventative maintenance.
• Correctly enters information intosystems for job tracking and payroll.
• Disposes of waste materials into proper storage containers. Mark and identify containers with required documentation.
• Complies with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (IE: GMP, HAACP, BRC) as applicable.
• Interacts and behaves professionally. Treats all associates respectfully and professionally while maintaining the companycode of ethics.
• Responsible for maintaining daily housekeeping efforts.

• Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Knowledge in Inventory Control and shipping/receiving activities is a plus.
