Job summary

MCC, a global leader in premium labels, is seeking a Material Handler in Missouri for 2nd shift. Responsibilities include reading job tickets, maintaining throughput, coordinating workflows, and safely operating material handling equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift experience preferred, and strong teamwork, math, and communication skills. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, disability, life insurance, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent training and experience providing the required knowledge, skill, and ability.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Computer literacy required.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge in inventory control and shipping/receiving is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands job tickets and layouts to produce the correct product of the highest quality.
• Runs plans and schedules accurately to maximize throughput.
• Cooperates with associates to coordinate workflow.
• Meet or exceed performance metrics for the position.
• Completes required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Safely operates material-moving equipment.
• Assists in maintaining equipment for optimal operation and performs preventative maintenance.
• Enters information into systems for job tracking and payroll.
• Disposes of waste materials into proper containers with required labeling.
• Complies with safety policies (GMP, HACCP, BRC) and other regulations.
• Maintains professional conduct and company ethics.
• Maintains daily housekeeping and participates in special projects.

Responsibilities:

• Reads and understands Job Tickets and layoutstoproduce the correct productofthe highest quality.
• Understands and executes planschedulesin an accurate and prompt manner to effectively maximize throughput.
• Works closely with all Associates to coordinate the workflow.
• Performance metrics must be at the average or greater for this position.
• Completes required documentation in an accurate and prompt manner.

• Assists in maintaining equipment for optimal operation, including adjustments. Assists with preventative maintenance.
• Correctly enters information intosystems for job tracking and payroll.
• Disposes of waste materials into proper storage containers. Mark and identify containers with required documentation.
• Complies with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (IE: GMP, HAACP, BRC) as applicable.
• Interacts and behaves professionally. Treats all associates respectfully and professionally while maintaining the companycode of ethics.
• Responsible for maintaining daily housekeeping efforts.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

• This position requires frequent walking.
• Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Knowledge in Inventory Control and shipping/receiving activities is a plus.
