Job summary

Warehouse Associate / Counter Sales... This is a Customer Service focused role that will answer phone calls and assist customers as they come into the store and look up parts etc. You will also perform shipping and receiving of parts and will use a forklift a few times a week. The company is a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration markets. LOCATION: Bedford Park, IL 60638

POSITION: Seasonal with Right to Hire

PAY RATE: 20.00hr

HOURS: 6:30am to 6:00pm w/Overtime (during peak season, but normally 6:30am to 3:00pm)

• Seeking someone that is Customer Service focused that can answer phone and assist customers, look up parts etc.
• Under direct supervision, evaluates customers needs and makes product/service recommendations accordingly. Responsible ensuring proper stocking of Lennox-branded and other HVAC-related products and supplies.
• Assists in unloading products and deliveries.
• Effectively communicates features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
• Follows all safety, health and security and environmental standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ Year experience in warehouse/picking/packing
• 3+ Years Shipping and Receiving experience
• 3+ Years Forklift Operation Standup and sit down

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Counter Sales experience
• Computer skills to look up parts for customers and customer orders
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good computer skills required: Microsoft applications.
• General HVAC knowledge
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
