Job summary

Staff Perm is seeking a Counter Sales Associate II in Bedford Park, IL for an HVAC parts counter role. This seasonal position offers $20/hour with potential to convert to a full-time role, in a busy store supporting HVAC manufacturing and distribution.

You will answer phones, assist customers, look up parts, handle shipping/receiving, and operate a forklift a few times a week. Strong customer service and basic computer skills are required.

Counter Sales Associate II
Hiring a Counter Sales Associate to support an HVAC Manufacturing Organization that is the leader in climate control products. This is a Customer Service focused role that will answer phone calls and assist customers as they come into the store and look up parts etc. You will also perform shipping and receiving of parts and will use a forklift a few times a week. The company is a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration markets. They use this staffing model to convert workers to full time employees. This is a great way to get hired fast!
LOCATION: Bedford Park, IL 60638
POSITION: Seasonal with Right to Hire
PAY RATE: 20.00hr
HOURS: 6:00am to 3:00pm

• Seeking someone that is Customer Service focused that can answer phone and assist customers, look up parts etc.
• Under direct supervision, evaluates customers needs and makes product/service recommendations accordingly. Responsible ensuring proper stocking of Lennox-branded and other HVAC-related products and supplies.
• Assists in unloading products and deliveries.
• Effectively communicates features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
• Follows all safety, health and security and environmental standards.

Requirements:

• Requires a high school diploma or GED**
• Counter Sales experience
• Computer skills to look up parts for customers and customer orders
• Shipping and Receiving experience
• Forklift skills - preferred (Low use, only used 2 or 3 times a week)
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good computer skills required: Microsoft applications.
• General HVAC knowledge
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
