Job summary

Lutron Ketra in Austin, TX is hiring a Warehouse Associate for 1st shift (9:30am–6:00pm). You will operate powered industrial equipment, perform RF-based picking, packing and shipping, and support receiving and replenishment.

You’ll rotate through multiple departments, gaining hands-on exposure to equipment, processes, and technologies in a high‑tech manufacturing and distribution setting. You will contribute to production support, inventory accuracy, and safe operations while advancing through

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment.
• 1 year shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Willingness to work 1st shift (9:30am-6:00pm) and overtime.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and read English work instructions.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Lutron Ketra has immediate openings on our 9:30am-6:00pm shift for Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Associates and Forklift Operators of all experience levels at our Manufacturing and Distribution facility in Austin, TX. In this position you would be a key part of the Operations team. You will build a career with a high-tech company working in a hands‑on environment. You will have the opportunity to rotate through multiple departments, gaining exposure to the broad range of equipment, processes, and technologies employed in our operation.

Responsibilities

• Become certified to operate Powered Industrial Equipment (such as electric pallet jacks, order pickers, and forklifts, etc.)
• Utilize RF technology to perform distribution functions such as picking, packing and shipping orders, receiving, put away and stock replenishment
• Deliver material to production lines in a timely manner
• Learn and use our inventory management system and enter materials transactions
• Work with our supply chain and distribution teams to process customer orders
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior experience operating Powered Industrial Equipment
• 1 year shipping or receiving experience (preferred)
• Desire to learn additional warehouse equipment
• Flexibility to work 1st shift (9:30am-6:00pm) and overtime as needed
• Have a valid Driver’s License
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to regularly lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to move to surrounding workstations and to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to read and follow work instructions in English
• Ability to work safely, wear appropriate PPE, and follow safety procedures
• You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as a H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.
