JOB SUMMARY

Performs general warehouse duties including unloading trucks, stocking shelves, repairing tools, furnishing materials and supplies to other workers. Cleans and maintains work area and truck yard. Cleans, maintains and repairs tools, parts, and machinery.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Maintain a valid driver's license. Must have safe driving record and a valid driver's license according to legal requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in general hand and electric tool repair is a plus. Possess Class B CDL or be able to obtain. Experience working in a parts/materials warehouse.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnoses, rebuilds, and repairs tools and equipment to include maintaining and repairing utility construction equipment & tooling. Furnishes tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to other workers. Cleans and/or maintains machinery, equipment, instruments, tools, work areas, and other objects by using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment. Transfers equipment, tools, parts, and other objects to and from work stations and other areas. Assembles and disassembles machinery, equipment, components, and other parts. Installs or replaces machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts and instruments. Adjusts and connects or disconnects wiring, piping, tubing, and other parts. Applies protective materials to equipment, components, and parts to prevent defects and corrosion. Tends and observes equipment and machinery to verify efficient and safe operation. Positions machinery, equipment, physical structures, and other objects, for assembly or installation. Examines and tests machinery, equipment, components, and parts for defects and to ensure proper functioning. Safely drive various vehicles. Obtain, as necessary, all moving licenses, safety checks, etc. as required by corporate policy, state or federal regulations or client requirements. This position is required to drive. Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
