Position Overview

RION Equipment is looking for a Warehouse Assistant who is responsible for all activities necessary to meet internal and external customer needs.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

• Reviews order board, work orders, and pick tags to determine items to be pulled and distributed. Pulls and sorts items according to established guidelines. Prepares items for pick-up or shipment. Contacts customers, technicians, or other branches regarding order status, as needed. Contacts shipping vendors to arrange pick-up, as needed. Completes and files appropriate paperwork.
• Collaborates with the Manager of Parts to plan, manage, and control all warehouse activities related to receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely delivery of goods, shipment loading & transfers, and all related data entry.
• Receives and unloads daily warehouse shipments, verifying items and quantities. Separates main store from branch inventory and reloads items as needed. Stocks items in appropriate locations in the warehouse. Follows established process for 'No Loc' items.
• Receives customer or technician returns and enters items back into inventory via PC. Restocks items in designated spots in the warehouse. Receives and processes battery returns following established guidelines.
