Summary:

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire, progressive position offering a great opportunity to join a global manufacturing company.

Warehouse Duties:

Works as part of a team in the following areas:

• Picking production work orders and sales orders
• Putting stock away from PO and WO goods receipts into designated bins or bulk areas
• Pre-packing instrument shipping sets
• Making accessory boxes and pre-kitting for production and N/C kits
• Cycle counting to meet accuracy goals

Shipping and Receiving Duties:

Assist with unloading, receiving, confirming goods, cleaning, packing, and loading goods. Requires some heavy lifting. Fork truck usage, safety tracking, and movement of pallet material are required. Occasional pickup of parts from suppliers.

Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Good attention to detail and careful handling of expensive and delicate components. Responsible, dependable, and able to work as part of a team to maintain a neat, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Support continuous improvement efforts through reorganizing stockroom as needed.

Additional Warehouse Tasks:

• Kitting/picking parts for sales and work orders
• Stock put-away
• Cutting tubing, pre-kitting, and accessory box assembly
• Inventory cycle counting
• Issuing and transferring materials in SAP

Additional Shipping/Receiving Tasks:

• Opening boxes and confirming quantities
• Receiving POs in SAP
• Breaking down and discarding boxes and packing materials
• Pre-packing activities
• Assisting with shipping and preparing orders for customers

General Duties:

• Performing other duties as assigned
• Assisting planners as needed

Requirements:

Working Conditions:

Stockroom environment with regular interaction with employees. Must work during business hours and non-business hours during high demand periods.

Physical Demands:

• 85% standing and moving around the warehouse
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license required

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
